To kick off our summer work series we'll be partnering with Friends of Tuckerman Ravine and starting at a place familiar to all backcountry skiers -Pinkham Notch - home to the John Sherburne Ski Trail and Gulf of Slides Ski Trail! Our goal is to have 100 volunteers attend each day and return each trail to their ORIGINAL CONDITION! This will help us in the future as we look to expand these trails and other glades in the Cutler River Drainage.
GBA and FOTR will co-host an after-party at Black Mountain in Jackson with a band, bbq and beer! that will be from 5-9pm. Volunteers are admitted free and get free food ticket. Guests cover charge is $10.
GBA is partnering with to make this fun and we are serious - WE WANT TO SEE 100 VOLUNTEERS EACH DAY!!!!!!! Everyone that skis Tuckerman Ravine or Gulf of Slides should sign up or at least be "interested" as a way to give back to the trails by clipping them back to their original size and width!
