Groovy on the Uphill

A backcountry mountain takeover is just want you need to put this winter season to bed & welcome the best of all seasons - Corn Season! Wild Corn Shindig kicks off at King Pine Ski Area in Madison, NH on Saturday April 5, 2025. In its 9th year, the event draws over attendees from all over the support the GRANITELAND glade network.

WILD CORN SHINDIG

Wild Corn has something for everyone, whether you’re new to uphill touring or a seasoned backcountry enthusiast. This is a total mountain takeover where ALL the lifts are shut down creating a backcountry ski resort for your enjoyment. If you don’t have uphill gear, there are tons of demos on site for you to try, from boots to skis to split boards. The Shindig has it all - endless uphill laps, live music, contests, giveaways, dance parties, great food and drinks, and more. We love to bring the uphill community together to harvest our favorite crop - springtime corn!!
